We are a certified Wyoming Centennial Ranching Operation, founded in 1903.

When you buy Johnson Family natural, grass-fed beef, you can expect the following:

  • Flavor– Our cattle are grass-fed and grass-finished, meaning, our steers are fed grass for their entire lifespan, produced meat with higher levels of omega 3s and higher levels of conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) than grain-fed beef.
  • Finish– Our cattle are allowed to grow and mature naturally in open pastures, allowing for full marbling and excellent flavor.

Our cattle roam and graze freely on thousands of acres of lush Wyoming grassland, with natural water sources. Stress-free and healthy, the way they are supposed to be.

USDA-Certified
Processing & Storage

We use the latest technology & adhere to USDA guidelines in our beef quality assurance.

We use a combination of DNA sequencing and detection methods to ensure our products are free of food-borne microbes, and are 100% beef.

We use genetic testing that tracks our cattle and matches them to bull/cow pairs. We always know where our beef comes from!

We transport our steers to a USDA-inspected beef processor. All products are labeled with the processor and safety information on the packaging. Our products are stored frozen in a USDA-inspected cold storage facility until shipment.

No Hormones, No Antibiotics, Just Pure Wyoming-Raised Beef

We are not a co-op.  Our cattle are born and raised on our ranch in Wyoming, with expansive grassland and natural water sources.  This is the beef we have fed our own family for generations, and we look forward to serving you!
